I kept getting the following:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>WARNING: Did not receive any data!!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I found the following in the vSphere client:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Create virtual machine snapshot<br \/>\n&#8230;<br \/>\nThe operation is not allowed in the current state.<br \/>\n&#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>So, it turns out the the issue was not with the Unitrends job, but the snapshot process on the VMware host.<\/p>\n<p>I used ssh to login into the host as root and did the following:<br \/>\n\/etc\/init.d\/hostd restart:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>[root@host1:~] \/etc\/init.d\/hostd restart<br \/>\nwatchdog-hostd: Terminating watchdog process with PID 572484<br \/>\nhostd stopped.<br \/>\nRamdisk &#8216;hostd&#8217; with estimated size of 1053MB already exists<br \/>\nhostd started.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\/etc\/init.d\/vpxa restart:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>[root@host01:~] \/etc\/init.d\/vpxa restart<br \/>\nwatchdog-vpxa: Terminating watchdog process with PID 573196<br \/>\nvpxa stopped.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Then, I rebooted the VM and tried the backup again.
