I finally upgraded Yourls in an attempt to get back to the Twitter plugin. Simple to upgrade. <\/p>\n
Backup yourls directory location.
\nBackup yourls MySQL database.
\nRemove everything from your yourls location.
\nUnzip the new yourls software.
\nCopy the config_sample.php to config.php. The configuration files are location in the includes directory.
\nModify the config.php with your site specific settings.
\nI had to modify the following definitions:
\nYOURLS_DB_USE
\nYOURLS_DB_PASS
\nYOURLS_DB_NAME
\nYOURLS_SITE
\n$yourls_user_passwords <\/p>\n
And, because I was upgrading from 1.2, I had to add the following definitions:
\ndefine(‘YOURLS_DB_TABLE_URL’, ‘url’);
\ndefine(‘YOURLS_DB_TABLE_NEXTDEC’, ‘next_id’);<\/p>\n
Go to your yourls site:
