I have fumbled around long enough trying to remember these commands at various points in my career, so I decided to write down a few of the commands needed to create a SAN zone and enable a config.

alicreate “aliasname “, “WWID“

zonecreate “zonename”, “aliasname; aliasname; etc”

cfgcreate “configname“, “zonename1; zonename2; etc“)

cfgsave “cfgname“

cfgenable “cfgname“
